Wrapping Up the Year with the Latest Industry Innovations from Around the World

We’ve entered 2016, which means that this is a time when a lot of people like to reflect back on the past year. We’re incredibly excited about the many developments we’ve done individually as a company, continuing to grow and becoming one of the best sign companies in Bucks county. As we’re determined to stay on that road, we’d like to share some of the most interesting news items and sign innovations from 2015, as an inspiration for the coming year.

LG Video Wall in Dubai

1

At the Gitex 2015 convention in Dubai this year, LG presented the slimmest video wall solution invented (so far), with 0.8 or 1.9mm bezel to bezel stats. It’s incredibly impressive, but as this particular industry (video walls) is highly competitive at the moment, we expect to see much more innovations and even slimmer solutions in the near future.

Interactive IKEA Sign in Stockholm

In a competition for the best and most fun sign of the year, this IKEA advertisement would probably come in at one of the top spots. It’s great to see so many people, kids especially, looking so excited by the sight of a well-designed and innovative sign. It also proves just how versatile signs can really be.

Largest Full-Motion LED Screen in Leeds

2

Bond Street in Leeds, UK, is about to have the biggest full-motion LED screen in the world. It’s 3.6 meters wide by 6.6 meters high (that’s almost 12 feet wide by almost 22 feet high), with a canvas size of 23.04 meters (248 square feet), and is capable of ensuring all images are clear even in the brightest daylight.

And that’s just some of the many ways in which our industry has grown and innovated in the past year. We keep up with the latest developments to stay inspired and to come up with ways to find the best and most cutting-edge solutions for our customers, so whether you’re looking for LED or traditional signage, give us a call. But, above all else, we hope you had a great year and let’s all make 2016 even better than 2015 was!
